Sales Reservation Process

Once each new Deanfield Homes development is launched our dedicated sales team will be available to answer any questions you may have. We will take you through the reservation process and provide you with the information you will need before you are expected to exchange contracts, including:

  • A completed reservation agreement.
  • A plan showing the layout and location of your chosen home.
  • An explanation of the benefits of your 10-year NHBC warranty.
  • Details of the specification of your chosen home and whether there are options available to you. (Prior to completing a reservation agreement, you will be made aware of any options that are applicable to your chosen home).
  • Any information on management services which may apply and an estimate of the annual costs.

When you reserve a Deanfield home you will be assigned a member of staff whom will be responsible for helping you through the buying process and after the completion of your home. We will provide you with the relevant information you require before you are expected to exchange contracts. We will always aim to ensure our marketing and advertising literature is accurate and complies with relevant laws and codes.

The information in our contract of sale will be clear and concise and our cancellation policy will be explained in full to you prior to reservation.

At Deanfield Homes we will do all we can to make buying your new home as simple as possible because we want you to be delighted with your new home and the standard of service you receive from our entire team.

Before you exchange contracts

Approximately 2 weeks prior to exchange of contracts, as part of the sales process, you will be invited to attend an Information Meeting on-site to enable the sales and construction team to fully explain the benefits of the development and your chosen home. This will also be your opportunity to ask any questions you may have prior to committing to your purchase.

Before completion

After exchange of contracts, and approximately 1 week prior to your completion date, we will arrange for the sales and construction team to undertake a demonstration of your completed home. At the demonstration you will be taken through details of how to look after your new home, including how to maintain the heating and electrical equipment.

After completion

As will be explained during the reservation process, your new home will benefit from a 10-year NHBC warranty and contained within your Home Information Pack will be all relevant contact details, including our dedicated Customer Service team and out-of-hours contact details. You will also receive a copy of your Home Information Manual that will include details of all your appliances and information on how to care for your home.
