With a flourishing new community now taking shape at Deanfield Rise in the Berkshire village of Binfield, Deanfield Homes was delighted to be a key sponsor for this year’s Binfield 10K event.

The race attracted over 850 runners from across the region, who took on a challenging 10K road route, including Deanfield’s very own Production Director Liam Gilbert and Head of Technical Alan Durrans.

With all money raised going to First Days Children’s Charity – an organisation that empowers families facing financial hardship – this popular local event is a shining example of the strong community spirit in Binfield where Deanfield is delivering a new collection of 42 homes on the northern edge of the village.

The atmosphere on the day was electric, with hundreds of participants, local supporters, and an incredible team of volunteers ensuring the day ran smoothly. Special thanks were given to Joshua Reynolds MP, who supported both as a marshal and as a champion of local causes.

Deanfield Homes was delighted to pledge its support as part of its ongoing commitment to make a positive impact on local communities through partnerships with good causes and a sensitive approach to development that enhances the areas in which it builds.

Set against mature trees and open green space, and offering direct access to nearby heritage parkland, Deanfield Rise has proved extremely popular with families, first-time buyers, and professionals alike, with 80% of homes now sold. The development blends rural charm and modern convenience, with sustainable new homes close to local schools, amenities and transport links and has attracted buyers from the wide area including Bracknell, Reading, Windsor and Maidenhead.

Annette Gaskell, Head of Sales and Marketing, commented: “The success of the Binfield 10K and the sense of togetherness it created is exactly what we strive to support through our developments. Deanfield Rise has been warmly welcomed by the local community, and events like this are a testament to why Binfield is such a special place to live.”
