In a strong start to the year, Deanfield Homes has announced the acquisition of a prime new site in East Berkshire. The new development, which has detailed consent for 33 high quality properties, marks an important step in the housebuilder’s continued growth in the county.

The new development will comprise a mix of three and four-bedroom homes, thoughtfully designed in both two and two-and-a-half storey layouts. All will feature modern living spaces tailored to meet the needs of today’s homeowners. There will also be a number of two bedroom properties available under the government ‘First Homes’ scheme. All homes will feature contemporary interiors, energy-efficient design and an emphasis on sustainability.

The site offers an enviable location just a few minutes’ walk from Burnham railway station which offers frequent links into London. Paddington is just 30-minutes away and Canary Wharf just 50 minutes, both via the new Elizabeth Line, making the development a highly desirable location for commuters. Construction is expected to commence in April 2025.

Andrew Aldridge, Land and Planning Director, comments: “This is a fantastic milestone for Deanfield Homes as we expand our portfolio into more urban locations. The site lies just south of Burnham village and combines an outstanding setting with excellent transport connectivity, whilst showcasing our commitment to creating exceptional homes with a true sense of place. I speak for the whole Deanfield Homes team when I say we are excited to bring this development to life and contribute to the thriving local community”.
