January 25, 2023In News3 Minutes

Deanfield Homes is launching a collection of character properties in the picturesque Oxfordshire village of Sibford Ferris. Set to launch in early 2024, Deanfield Heights, a development of 25 homes, will feature a range of two to five-bedroom properties, all traditional in design, in keeping with the development’s rural location.

The larger homes, which will be the most substantial properties Deanfield Homes has delivered to date, will feature exceptional quality specification, boasting additional studio accommodation above detached double garages. In keeping with the local architecture, many of the homes will be constructed in ironstone, with sash windows, stone cills and slate roofs. For those looking to improve their green credentials, the homes will also feature air source heat pumps, electrical vehicle charging points, highly rated kitchen appliances and low energy lighting.

Located on the edge of the Cotswolds, the homes will provide beautiful views of far-reaching open countryside, perfect for picturesque walks. Renowned for sensitive development in rural locations, the development will also boast a large area of open meadow and an ecological area to encourage wildlife and biodiversity.

The aspirational rural village of Sibford Ferris, is one of three neighbouring villages. Alongside Sibford Gower and Burdrop the three make up the ‘The Sibfords’, benefiting from a host of local amenities, including a village hall, the Wykham Arms pub, a village shop and post office and the historic Holy Trinity church. For those with children there are a number of highly rated schools including Sibford Gower Primary School and Sibford School, an independent school for ages 3-18.

The village lies approximately six and half miles west of Banbury on the eastern edge of the Cotswolds, with easy access to the M40. The popular market towns of Chipping Norton and Shipston-on-Stour are less than 20 minutes by car.

Construction is expected to commence on site in Spring 2023 with the first homes to be released for sale in early 2024. Peter Blades, Managing Director at Deanfield Homes, comments: “We are delighted to be building on our strong track record in Oxfordshire with another high-quality development in a prime village location. Sibford Ferris offers purchasers a peaceful rural setting and we’re proud to provide another beautiful development, including sustainable new homes which will sit at the heart of the local community.”
