April 24, 2024In News3 Minutes

Deanfield Homes has released the first selection of properties at its Deanfield Heights development, a new collection of character properties in the sought-after village of Sibford Ferris.

The development of 25 two to five-bedroom homes combines old-world charm with the very latest in sustainable building practices. In keeping with the local architectural style, many of the homes will be constructed in ironstone, with sash windows, stone cills and slate roofs. Yet properties will focus on energy efficiency, with high levels of insulation, air source heat pumps, water saving appliances and electric vehicle charging points.

Located on the edge of the Cotswolds, Deanfield Heights will offer beautiful views across open countryside. The development also boasts a large open meadow, perfect for encouraging wildlife and enhancing biodiversity. There will also be a children’s play area in the central green.

The first homes to be released are a collection of four-bedroom designs, priced from £995,000. They include the Enstone, a striking property with both a detached and semi-detached variant; the Eynsham and the Harris.

The Harris features an impressive and beautifully appointed kitchen/family/dining room and a formal living room with feature fireplace providing a sumptuous entertaining space. The ground floor also benefits from a separate utility room and stylish cloakroom. Upstairs, two of the four spacious bedrooms are ensuite and the principal bedroom has the luxury of a dressing room. With a detached double garage, this property has the added benefit of a shower room and additional accommodation over the garage, ideal for use as a home gym, gaming room or home office.

The aspirational rural village of Sibford Ferris is one of three neighbouring villages which make up ‘The Sibfords’. Together they benefit from a host of local amenities, including a village hall, the Wykham Arms pub, a village shop and post office and the historic Holy Trinity church. For families with school age children, there are a number of highly-rated schools including Sibford Gower Primary School and the independent Sibford School.

Despite its rural location, Sibford Ferris offers good transport links, with easy access to the M40 putting, Oxford, Birmingham and London within easy reach.

Annette Gaskell, sales and marketing manager for Deanfield Homes, comments: “We are delighted to release for sale this beautiful collection of character new homes in Sibford Ferris.  This stunning village location offers a peaceful rural setting with great local amenities. We would urge interested parties to get in touch soon, as these homes are sure to generate a great deal of interest from prospective buyers.”
