Deanfield Homes has been granted reserved matters for its new development in the Oxfordshire village of Hook Norton. The approved plans detail the design for 42 high-quality and energy efficient properties.

The development will feature a range of private and affordable homes, from two-bedroom starter properties to four-bedroom family homes set within areas of open space and incorporating a children’s play area. The vision is for a vibrant and attractive community within a countryside setting for both future residents and the wider community to enjoy.

The new homes have been designed to reflect the character of the local area and will combine traditional materials and finishes. A landscaped buffer will be planted, incorporating three metre saplings, softening the eastern boundary of the site.

Deanfield Homes is an award-winning homebuilder focused on the sensitive development of modern, energy-efficient homes which enhance their traditional rural communities.

Andrew Aldridge, Land and Planning Director, said: “We are thrilled to have received reserved matters approval for this exciting new development in Hook Norton. Our focus is on delivering homes that combine quality craftsmanship, sustainability, and a strong sense of community. Construction is set to begin in January 2025 and we look forward to welcoming new residents to this beautiful village”.
