Louise explains, “I am originally from Surrey and Liam from Kent, and we decided to make the move over to Oxfordshire because we really liked the area and it gave us the opportunity to get on the property ladder. We bought an end of terrace cottage in Wallingford which we loved but after getting married at the end of last year we are keen to start a family so made the decision to start looking for a larger property in the area.

“We originally put our property on the market in the winter of 2020 but then the pandemic hit so we decided it wasn’t the right time to sell. We eventually put it back on when restrictions started to ease slightly in September 2020.

“As soon as we walked into the show home we fell in love with it. “The development and area really offers us the best of both worlds, which was why we were so keen to stay close to Wallingford. I work in Oxford as a finance manager and Liam is a head chef, also in Oxford and it’s so easy to commute to the city; moving here has just added five minutes to our journey.” Continues Louise.

“There are really good employment opportunities in this area and also great places to go out but you can also enjoy the countryside living and being right by the river we are able to hear all the wildlife. It’s a great place to start our family.
